Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

When she was in the middle of high school, Sasha became transgender.. Sasha's family supported him through the difficult times, and Sasha knew that he was capable of anything through music. Jim and Sasha are both song writers and have just recently formed an official music duo. Since then, they have appeared at various local events, such as open mics. The Voice coaches didn't discuss Sasha's past, but Jim and he shared their experiences prior to performing. Sasha and Jim talked about their favorite music, including how he first started playing guitar at age six. It was easy for Sasha to get guitar since his dad is an accomplished musician. Sasha was born female and struggled to find his identity as an infant. In an Instagram post she shared her struggles. Jim was overcome with tears when he explained why it was impossible for him to be part of these trying times. Sasha Allen was born as a woman. Sasha Allen, The Voice contestant, will turn 19 in 2021. Sasha made public his trans identity during his freshman year of highschool and began transitioning from male to female. Sasha declared in Instagram the fact that he is third transgender person to have ever been featured on the show. He stated that he felt very proud and honored to be a part of the trans community in all its diversity.
