Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is an acclaimed American actress. Kellie Martin has appeared in numerous TV shows like "Christy", a story of a girl known as Christy Huddleston. She is also known for playing the title role in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin's acting journey began when she was just seven when her aunt, an ex-nanny who looked after on the kids of Michael Landon, helped secure the role of a guest in 1982's 'Father Murphy.' She began acting professionally after graduating Yale University. This led to her landing substantial parts in both the television and film industries. Martin is, in addition to acting, she is also an accomplished photographer as well as a ballet dancer. Martin's sister, who died due to Lupus at age 19, was the inspiration behind her becoming the Lupus national spokesperson.
